General Manager Chatchawal Supachayanont (seated centre
middle row), leads the list of over one hundred long-serving staff members
who have served and worked for Dusit Thani Pattaya for more than 15
years. Chatchawal, who has been the hotel’s general manager for twenty
years, was among those who were given honour and recognition during a simple
ceremony held at the Napalai Convention Hall recently. The staff expressed
thanks and appreciation to the management for believing in them and their
contribution over the years. They also shared some of the highlights of
their nostalgia since the first year they joined when Dusit Thani Pattaya
was still called Dusit Resort, Pattaya. The hotel was rebranded in 2007
following the rollout of Dusit International.

Multiple birthday celebrations were hosted by GM Pierre
Andre Pelletier (centre right), General Manager, along with Nichaya
Chaivisuth (centre left), Director of Communications & Public Relations at
the Amari Watergate Bangkok recently. The birthday girls were Dr.
Kritika Kongsompong, Srisupang Morris, Panitnart Yampaka, Areerat
Krissanasmith, Nuchanart Raveesangsoon and Karnchanitta Kolsartsenee
(holding bouquets). Flanking the group are Avasada Pokmontri and Salinee
Punyalachun.
The A-One Royal Cruise Hotel Pattaya played host
to a group of physically challenged tourists using wheelchairs for mobility
on their recent visit to Pattaya. The group was led by An Jin Hwan (2nd
right), Director of the Korea Federation of Centers for Independent Living
of Persons with Disabilities.
Wuthisak Pichayagan (centre), Executive Assistant Manager
for Food and Beverage at Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort, Pattaya
welcomed his colleagues to the ‘Centara Grand Hotels & Resorts Food and
Beverage Workshop Seminar 2013’ at the hotel recently. Visiting chefs and
friends included Winfried Hancke (right), Corporate Director of Operations
of Centara Hotels & Resorts.
The Pattaya Animal Coalition (PAC) was established
recently to try to help the dire dog and animal situation on the Eastern
Seaboard. The initial group of volunteers consist of Karin Hawleka from Care
for dogs, Neo, Falco Due Thai Legal & Associates in Pattaya, Finnelly Pau
from Cat Shelter, Gerry Rasmus from KOTO and Bethany Pedersen. For more

Jeunesse Expo 2013 - Annual World Conference was
successfully concluded at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group and Pattaya
Exhibition And Convention Hall (PEACH) recently. Thousands of delegates
from all over the world took part in one of the biggest and most memorable
events of 2013. During the conference Royal Cliff Hotels Group Managing
Director Panga Vathanakul, Vice President Vathanai Vathanakul, General
Manager Christoph Voegeli and Klaus Bodo Hund, Resident Manager of the Royal
Wing Suites & Spa met up with Randy Ray and Wendy Lewis, founders of
Jeunesse Global together with Scott Lewis, Executive Chief Visionary Officer
of Jeunesse Global, Isabel Paz Caro and Esperanza Caro De Paz.
Dr. Phichit Kangwolkit, director of Bangkok Hospital
Pattaya presented traffic barriers to Pol. Lt. Col. Suwit Sawangmongkol,
Administration and Crime Control Inspector at Banglamung Police Station for
use in helping to keep the roads safe in Pattaya and Banglamung.
