Teen ex-con arrested for Beach Road burglaries

Police bring in the suspect to face burglary charges.

A Samut Sakhon ex-convict was arrested for allegedly burglarizing six Beach Road apartments.
Wuthichai Bangkerd, 19, was captured at the Pu-thong Apartments May 15 following a report from a burglarized resident. He was captured with two watches, four amulets, two notebook computers, 12 mobile phones, computer equipment and a handbag containing 10,550 baht.
Police said Wuthichai confessed to the burglaries, saying he’d been robbing homes in Samut Sakhon after being released from prison four months earlier. Fearing local police would catch him, he relocated to Pattaya to continue his criminal exploits.
