THAI holds anointing ceremony for Boeing 777-200ER and Airbus 340-600 Aircraft

Somdej Phra Maha Muneewong (far left), Abbot of Wat Rajabopit Sathitmahasimaram Rajaworavihara, presided over the anointing ceremony for Thai Airways International Public Company Limited’s two aircraft, Boeing 777-200ER, royally bestowed the name “Phetchabun” and Airbus 340-600, royally bestowed the name “Nonthaburi”.

Ampon Kittiampon (2nd from left), THAI’s Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chokchai Panyayong (4th from left), THAI’s Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development Department and Acting President, were present at the Anointing Ceremony that was held at THAI’s Technical Department, Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Both aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art passenger seats and personal screens with the latest in-flight entertainment system in all classes of travel. Passengers are able to enjoy up to 100 movies, listen to 500 songs, play 60 games, and watch 150 documentaries on board these two aircraft.
