
PRAJINBURI, Thailand – Khao Yai National Park rangers apprehended three suspects in two separate wildlife poaching cases in a single night in Bu Phai Subdistrict, Prachantakham District. Authorities seized animal carcasses, weapons, and drugs.
The first case occurred around 9:00 p.m. on September 11, when rangers caught two men with 15 kilograms of wild boar meat, a machete, a headlamp, two mobile phones, and nine methamphetamine pills.
At 10:10 p.m., a third suspect was arrested nearby with 24.8 kilograms of wild boar meat, 3 kilograms of langur meat, a 12-gauge shotgun, seven bullets, a machete, a headlamp, and a mobile phone.
Officials recorded the arrests with the park’s Conservation and Fire Control Division before transferring the suspects and all seized items to Prachantakham Police Station for prosecution.
