The Songkran festival has begun in Bangla, Phuket, with tourists and locals alike enthusiastically splashing water to celebrate. April 12, marks the commencement of the Songkran festivities, particularly in the renowned tourist area of Patong Beach. At Bangla Road, a popular tourist spot, both Thai and foreign tourists have gathered to participate in the joyful water play, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere.



To ensure the safety of everyone participating, police officers and relevant authorities are stationed to oversee security measures. They are ensuring the safety of both the public and tourists who have come out to celebrate Songkran.

This year’s Songkran celebrations in the Patong area are scheduled to last for three days, from April 12 to April 14. (TNA)
