
BANGKOK, Thailand – The government is preparing to hold a consultation forum with leading business figures to discuss ways to enhance Thailand’s economic competitiveness, with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul set to host the session. Government Spokesperson Rachada Dhanadirek said the forum will bring together senior executives from major industry groups to share perspectives, challenges, and proposals directly with policymakers. The discussion is expected to help support closer coordination between the public and private sectors and ensure policies respond to current economic conditions.
Key participants include prominent business leaders such as Dhanin Chearavanont and Suphachai Chearavanont of Charoen Pokphand Group, Sarath Ratanavadi of Gulf Development, Thammasak Sethaudom of Siam Cement, and Kongkrapan Intarajang of PTT, among others. The forum is set to address immediate economic concerns, long-term policy direction, and possible regulatory adjustments, while also providing an opportunity for business leaders to share their outlook on Thailand’s competitiveness in the coming year.
