BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul met with U.S. Ambassador to Thailand, The Hon. Robert F. Godec, to reaffirm Thailand’s four-point position in negotiations with Cambodia and expand cooperation in combating scam networks.

Spokesperson Siripong Angsakulkiat said the Prime Minister emphasized the U.S.’s role as observer in Thai-Cambodian border talks under the GBC and JBC frameworks. Thailand reiterated its four-point stance, urging Cambodia to engage sincerely for concrete progress benefiting both nations and their citizens.



The discussion also covered enhanced collaboration against scam networks, including the exchange of data with U.S. authorities to improve operational efficiency and systematize enforcement. A follow-up meeting with U.S. representatives is scheduled for early November to formalize cooperative measures against scammers. (TNA)
