Thailand ranks #1 in ASEAN on Sustainable Development Goals Index 2023

Thailand got a 74.7 score on the 2023 global SDG ranking. That means that it ranks #1 in ASEAN. It is also #3 in Asia and #43 worldwide.

The Sustainable Development Report (SDR) and SDG Index 2023, organized by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), a network of academics working closely with the United Nations to support the achievement of sustainable development.

This year, a total of 166 countries were ranked. The top five include 1st place Finland, 2nd place Sweden, 3rd place Denmark, 4th place Germany, and 5th place Austria.



Thailand got a 74.7 score on the 2023 global SDG ranking. That means that it ranks #1 in ASEAN. It is also #3 in Asia and #43 worldwide. It made notable achievements in poverty reduction (SDG1) and the population’s equal opportunity to quality education (SDG4).

And Thailand is ready to present the successful results of “carbon credit trading” as the first nation in the world, on the stage of the SDGs Summit 2023 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA. (PRD)
