Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra joins ‘Ljubljana Festival’ in Slovenia

The Ljubljana Festival, now in its 70th year, is a long-standing music festival that takes place every year from the middle of June to mid-September at historical venues that are converted into stages for classical music and nightly performances.

The Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, under the supervision of the College of Music of Mahidol University, is performing at the world-renowned Ljubljana Festival in Slovenia for the first time ever.

Nearly 100 musicians are representing the kingdom at the world-renowned music festival on the main stage and joining the European concert tour to Hungary, Slovenia and Poland from August 27 and September 2.

The Festival is attended by internationally-recognized musicians such as Daniel Barenboim, Lang Lang and world-class orchestras, including Britain’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Spain’s West-Eastern Divan Orchestra and Austria’s Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. (NNT)
