BANGKOK,(NNT) – The Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion will lead Thai business operators to Oman next month, as they seek further opportunities to penetrate overseas markets.
The Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion, aka OSMEP, has organized a seminar entitled “Open the Middle Eastern World for Thai SMEs” to prepare the operators of small and medium enterprises for a 7-day expedition to Oman next month.
Thai SMEs will be given an opportunity to showcase their products and services at an exhibition to be held on May 9-15 in Oman which is believed to be Thailand’s gateway to the Middle East.
In addition, the exhibition serves as a platform for Thai businesses to partner up with their Omani counterparts.
In Oman, OSMEP revealed that Thai products especially dried fruit, cosmetics, and halal food are popular among domestic consumers thanks to their exceptional quality.
To add value to their products, OSMEP urged SME operators to build their own brands, improve package designs, and have a well-rounded marketing strategy in place.
