Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul opens the 38th National Safety and Occupational Health Fair Thailand Safe@Work 2026, highlighting workplace safety, employee welfare, and Thailand’s investment potential.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul presided over the opening of the 38th National Safety and Occupational Health Fair, Thailand Safe@Work 2026. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to workplace safety, employee welfare, and attracting foreign investment. The event was organized by the Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health under the Ministry of Labor.



​In his keynote address, the Prime Minister reflected on his early career as an engineer, emphasizing that prioritizing occupational health prevents loss of life and turns long-term safety costs into sustainable profits. He highlighted his ongoing support for the Ministry of Labor and commended enterprises for adopting advanced safety technologies presented at the event. He stated that the government is committed to fostering a sustainable safety culture for all employees, including migrant workers, by ensuring strict legal compliance and enhancing the quality of life.


​The Prime Minister reaffirmed Thailand’s readiness to serve as an ASEAN hub, supported by comprehensive infrastructure and modern logistics. He noted that the administration is developing investment packages to retain existing manufacturing bases and attract new foreign investors. He also encouraged domestic economic growth through the “Thais Help Thais Plus” initiative, calling for collective efforts to circulate capital within the country and promote sustainable national growth.
