SA KAEO, Thailand – Thai border troops stationed in Sa Kaeo Province carried out live-fire military drills to ensure readiness in defending national sovereignty. The training emphasized rapid response capability and combat precision should orders come from higher command.

The Eastern Border Forces, in coordination with the 2nd Battalion of the 12th Infantry Task Force Regiment (Task Force 12), conducted live ammunition training at Khao E-Dang, Khok Soong District. The drill aimed to enhance soldiers’ individual firearm skills according to their assigned roles and strengthen their confidence in executing operations along the border.

Officials emphasized that the training is part of ongoing preparations to protect Thailand’s territorial integrity and respond to any potential threats along the border region. Soldiers focused on improving weapon accuracy and tactical readiness, reaffirming that they stand prepared to act immediately upon command to safeguard the peace and security of Thai citizens.
