TAT and Porsche Club Singapore launch luxury driving caravan across Thailand

Officials from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Porsche Club Singapore, and the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore mark the launch of the “Drive of the Year” caravan on March 21, sending 21 Porsche sports cars on a 14-night journey across Thailand to promote premium tourism and cultural experiences ahead of **Songkran> celebrations.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Singapore Office, in partnership with Porsche Club Singapore (PCS), has launched the “Drive of the Year — Porsche Club Singapore” caravan to promote Thailand as a premium tourism destination.

​The flag-off ceremony was held on March 21, 2026, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore. Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Chonlatee Chanrachakul delivered the opening remarks, alongside the President of Porsche Club Singapore and Team Thailand representatives.

​The caravan includes 36 participants and 21 Porsche vehicles, traveling across Thailand for 14 nights from April 12 to 25, 2026. The route covers key destinations from south to north, such as Hat Yai, Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, and Songkhla.



Participants will take part in major cultural and community activities, including the Songkran Festival in Chiang Mai, recognized as a significant cultural heritage event, and a CSR initiative in Mae Sot, Tak province, where they will donate to local schoolchildren.​

This initiative aims to boost cultural tourism, support local communities, and reinforce Thailand’s position as a premium destination for Singapore. (NNT)
