SRT’s June tour program blends history, nature, and comfort on special trains to the West.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has introduced a program of train trips in June 2025. The program provides routes all month to Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi provinces, both overnight and one-day trips, traveling in style on the Royal Blossom and KiHa, refurbished trains acquired from Japan.

The Bangkok-Kanchanaburi route includes eight one-day trips, on 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, and 29 June, on the Royal Blossom train. Highlights of the trip are the visit to the historic bridge over the River Kwai and Mallika City, which is an ancient-city attraction reflecting the past of Thailand.

The program also includes overnight trips on KiHa, composed of two routes, as follows:

– The Bangkok-Ratchaburi route, on 14-15 June;
– The Bangkok-Kanchanaburi route, on 28-29 June.

The trips provide a variety of activities, such as visits to historical sites, natural attractions, shopping, and floating river rafts.
