Save the Children launched the “Dots to Dream” project to promote inclusive employment and highlight the capabilities of visually impaired workers in Thailand.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Save the Children organized the Dots to Dream Project: Pathways to Inclusive Employment for Persons with Visual Impairments to raise awareness of disability inclusion in the workplace. The event featured a panel discussion that included visually impaired youth, researchers, and experts, aiming to promote inclusive employment by showcasing organizations such as Dots Coffee that hire such youth, thereby highlighting the high potential of employees with visual impairments.

The insights, based on research findings and hands-on experiences, were exchanged, urging employers to engage with explicit, policy-aligned calls that reflect a commitment to strengthening inclusivity at work. Furthermore, a good understanding of people with disabilities is significant in driving this aspect.  Save the Children and its partners are confident that visually impaired people have strong work skills. Gaining strong cooperation from both private and public sectors will surely secure the success of meaningful employment that can promote Thailand’s image as a society of inclusivity and equality.
