BANGKOK, Thailand – A tragic construction accident occurred at 4:00 AM on November 29 when a concrete segment of an elevated road under construction on Rama II Road collapsed. The incident resulted in 2 fatalities, 10 injuries, and 2 individuals still missing. Emergency services rescued 25 others from the site.

The collapse happened at Kilometer 21+100 in Moo 4, Nadee Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Sakhon. The project, part of the first phase spanning approximately 2 kilometers, had completed over 1 kilometer before the incident.
