
BANGKOK, Thailand – Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya has presided over the opening ceremony of the 11th Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025 equestrian competition at the Royal Horse Guard Riding Club of the 2nd Cavalry Division, King’s Guard, in Bangkok. The ceremony, taking place on December 22, was also attended by senior military officers, cabinet ministers, government officials, and representatives from the public and private sectors.
The competition is held under the theme “Building the Bond Between Horse & Rider. Discover the Joy of Horse Connection,” underscoring the close partnership between riders and horses while acknowledging the vital roles of trainers, grooms, and farriers who support the sport.
During the opening ceremony, Her Royal Highness viewed competition highlights and presented awards for the FEI SEA Youth Cup 2025. The championship was claimed by Isabella Marie Felix of the Philippines, followed by Thailand’s Supinun Jullobol in second place and Indonesia’s Nathan Edward Kareem Yacub in third. The Princess also awarded commemorative plaques to event sponsors and international judges.
Her Royal Highness later visited the exhibition “The Spirit of Eternal Grace,” which presents her artistic vision and continuing efforts to promote Thai arts and textiles, and posed for official photographs with the organizing committee.
Princess’s Cup Thailand 2025 runs from December 22 to December 28 at the Royal Horse Guard Riding Club, featuring international equestrian competitions, youth events, professional demonstrations by grooms and farriers, dog-related activities, an arts and textiles exhibition, a flea market, and food trucks, offering a broad mix of sport, culture, and lifestyle experiences for the public.
