
VATICAN CITY – Pope Leo XIV, head of the Catholic Church, addressed the ongoing conflict between Thailand and Cambodia by offering prayers for children and families forced to flee due to the violence.
Vatican News reported that the Pope prayed for war victims worldwide, expressing special concern for the people in Gaza. He called for the release of hostages and full respect for human rights laws. He also urged global leaders to seek peaceful resolutions to conflicts impacting millions.
During his prayer, the Pope specifically mentioned those affected by the clashes at the Thai-Cambodian border, particularly children and displaced families. He also prayed for victims of violence in southern Syria. (TNA)
