PM Anutin meets Thai Chamber of Commerce, vows swift action to revive economy

PM Anutin pledges rapid economic recovery as he introduces his incoming economic team to the Thai Chamber of Commerce.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul chaired a meeting with the Board of Trade of Thailand and the Thai Chamber of Commerce to discuss urgent economic recovery measures.

Anutin emphasized that the list of cabinet members has already been submitted for royal endorsement, and once granted, the government will immediately present its policy statement to parliament and begin administration without delay.


He stressed that the incoming government will prioritize economic revitalization, aiming to strengthen Thailand’s economy as quickly as possible within the given timeframe.

During the meeting, Anutin introduced members of his incoming economic cabinet, noting their close familiarity with the business community. He highlighted Mr. Vorapak Tanyawong, nominated as Deputy Finance Minister, praising his strong capabilities. He added that Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, nominated as Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, personally handpicked Vorapak, reflecting his confidence in Vorapak’s skills. (TNA)
