Parnpree bids farewell to Foreign Ministry role

Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, the outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended a farewell event at the Ministry after announcing his resignation on April 28.

Parnpree expressed his gratitude to the civil servants and staff for their support during his tenure and mentioned that his departure was temporary, indicating his willingness to offer assistance if needed in the future.

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has already submitted the name of the new Foreign Minister to the Royal Household Bureau, signaling a change in the government’s lineup.



Manaporn Charoensri, Deputy Minister of Transport, remarked that changes in political roles are commonplace, particularly for politicians who must fully engage with their responsibilities. She noted that facing challenges is a natural aspect of a political career.

Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol, Minister of Culture, shared reflections on her time at the Ministry of Tourism and Sports on the social media platform X. She emphasized the satisfaction and honor of serving the country and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work in such impactful roles.




Sermsak Pongpanit, Minister of Tourism and Sports, announced that the Prime Minister has planned a meeting involving the Ministries of Culture and Tourism and Sports. He stated he feels privileged and unpressured by the trust placed in him to fulfill these duties. (NNT)
