SA KAEO, Thailand – National Police Chief Pol. Gen. Kittirat Phanphet visited the Sa Kaeo border area to inspect the readiness of police forces and show support for ongoing military operations. During his visit to Ban Nong Chan, he met with frontline officers, provided supplies, and offered encouragement, emphasizing that morale is high and equipment is fully prepared.


Pol. Gen. Kittirat noted that the police are ready to work alongside the military under current operations, awaiting orders under martial law. While some houses in the area have seen Cambodian residents moved, he confirmed the situation remains under control. He also highlighted the importance of handling illegal cross-border labor according to Thai law and reaffirmed that the police are prepared to protect Thailand’s sovereignty and enforce the law as needed.
