This “Metro Art” project – developed by Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) and Bangkok Metro Networks Limited (BMN) – is supported by TAT, with the goal of becoming a new location for tourists and Thais to visit, in particular those who appreciate art and creativity, and it is expected to increase MRT use by 20%.
Planned events include projects located over a 1,000 sq m area, lined up to take place at MRT subway stations throughout 2023. The highlights will be exhibitions of both modern and classic art by famous artists, which will rotate on a monthly basis. (PRD)
