
BANGKOK, Thailand – The Bureau of the Royal Household has confirmed that His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen will pay an Official Visit to the People’s Republic of China from November 13 to 17, 2025, at the invitation of President Xi Jinping. This visit is expected to advance the long-standing and cordial relations between the two countries and to deepen the goodwill shared between their peoples. It also marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China, underscoring the historic nature of the occasion.
On 14 November, Their Majesties will be officially welcomed at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, where the President of China and the First Lady will receive the King and Queen. Following the welcome ceremony, Their Majesties will hold discussions with the President and the First Lady. Their Majesties will then grant an audience to Premier Li Qiang. That evening, the President and the First Lady will host a state banquet in honor of Their Majesties.
During the visit, Their Majesties will lay a wreath at the Monument to the People’s Heroes in Tiananmen Square. They will also visit several key cultural and scientific institutions in Beijing, including Lingguang Temple, the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics, the National Center for Educational Technology, the China Academy of Space Technology, the China Astronaut Research and Training Center, and the Beijing Aerospace Control Center.
Their Majesties will also visit the Palace Museum to view the special exhibition titled “Golden Friendship, Shared Brilliance: A Special Exhibition Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Thai–Chinese Diplomatic Relations”, followed by a tour of the Hall of Supreme Harmony.
Their Majesties will depart from Don Mueang Royal Thai Air Force Base on Thai Airways flight TG 8886 on November 13 at 10:20 a.m., and will return on flight TG 8887 on November 17 at 8:45 p.m.
