‘Kickoff Project Nongbualamphu Fashion Week 2024’ showcases regional rich heritage and artistry

NONGBUALAMPHU, Thailand – Deputy Minister of Interior Theerarat Samrejvanich has officially launched the “Kickoff Project Nongbualamphu Fashion Week 2024” under the theme Ignite the World: Inspiring Nong Bua Lamphu Fashion on the Global Stage. The event showcases the region’s traditional textiles in a prominent fashion show featuring global model and Mister International 2023, Thitisan Goodburn, alongside more than 234 professional, honorary, and youth models.

Theerarat stated that Nong Bua Lamphu’s development vision aligns with national economic objectives, focusing on creating jobs, modernizing traditional agriculture, and promoting innovative tourism. This strategic approach is expected to position the northeastern province as a textile hub and a vibrant tourist destination, driving local economic growth and visibility.



The project also seeks to establish Nong Bua Lamphu as a “fashion city” celebrated for its local textiles, honoring local culture, boosting craftsmanship, and creating new economic opportunities for residents.

With its emphasis on the region’s rich heritage and artistry, the Nongbualamphu Fashion Week is already drawing domestic and international attention, solidifying the province’s place on the fashion map. (NNT)
