
NARATHIWAT, Thailand – His Majesty the King graciously appointed Privy Councilor General Paiboon Koomchaya to visit Narathiwat province on August 3, to deliver royal relief items and support security personnel and residents affected by the July 22, incident. The Privy Councilor was accompanied by Deputy Commander of the 4th Army Region Maj. Gen. Chakrit Ucharat, the Governor of Narathiwat, and other local officials.
The Privy Councilor began his visit at Ranger Task Force 45, where he presented 60 sets of royal relief items to security personnel. He then visited Ra-ngae Hospital to meet a patient who was injured in the July 22 incident, delivering royal gifts and offering encouragement to his family. Later, he inspected security operations at the Bukit Sami checkpoint and commended officers for their dedication to public safety. During the visits, General Paiboon conveyed His Majesty the King’s ongoing concern for the southern border provinces. His Majesty expressed wishes for the safety and well-being of all officers and residents, encouraging resilience, sacrifice, and unity to restore lasting peace, stability, and quality of life in the region.
