BANGKOK, Thailand – The Thais Help Thais Plus economic stimulus program has opened food delivery orders through four major platforms, with merchants expecting a substantial boost in daily sales. The first day of food delivery services under the program launched at 6 a.m. on June 15, through participating application partners ShopeeFood, LINE MAN, GrabFood, and Robinhood. Initial morning updates from Yala province indicated slow consumer activity because citizens preferred purchasing meals directly from storefronts during their morning commutes and school drop-offs. However, public officials and operators anticipate spikes in digital orders from civil servants and office employees during the afternoon and evening.

While storefront transactions remain consistent, some consumers were unable to use the newly launched delivery option today because they had already exhausted their monthly state co-payment subsidy maximum of 1,000 baht. Local business operators welcomed the integration, noting that the program effectively eases citizens’ daily living costs. Merchants participating via authorized platforms, which can be linked directly through the government’s application framework, reported that the state-subsidized co-payment model heavily compensates for periods of sluggish consumer demand.

The Thais Help Thais Plus is a co-payment stimulus measure under which the government covers 60% of the cost while the public pays 40%. The overall scheme runs from June 1 to September 30, 2026, with in-store use available from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Delivery services are available from June 15 to September 30, 2026, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. To order, users open their preferred delivery app, select the program icon, confirm the transaction in the Pao Tang app, and complete the subsidized payment within a 5-minute window.
