BANGKOK, Thailand – Culture Minister Sabeeda Thaised has introduced three flagship policies to move the Ministry of Culture forward under the vision “Thai Thai,” focusing on delivering under the “Quick Big Win” framework while ensuring long-term sustainability.
The first policy aims to transform cultural power into real income by opening new cultural spaces under the concept “Unseen Thai Thai.” These will serve as modern, accessible Thai cultural landmarks designed to attract people from all groups.
The second policy introduces a cash rebate scheme to support Thai content creators. The initiative is designed to simplify access to benefits and ensure visible results within three months..
The third policy will upgrade the Cultural Product of Thailand (CPOT) program to “CPOT Next Gen: Thai Culture x Global Brands.” This includes partnerships with top designers, international collaborations, and expanded sales channels to help Thai entrepreneurs connect with global markets. Products will be showcased in ways that make them visible, accessible, and easy to buy — helping to raise their profile while also generating real revenue.
These implementations will include a clear Action Plan with measurable indicators in both quantity and quality. The Culture Minister stressed that citizens must feel a sense of cultural ownership and positive connection, ensuring that the policies create economic value across regions and lead to sustainable growth.
