Checkpoints continue to deal with drug crime


In the middle of the night on August the 18th police set up a checkpoint on Soi Kor Phai south Pattaya to search cars and motorbike drivers for illegal substances such as drugs and weapons under the National Police Department’s policy to clean up the streets and reduce the crime rates

At the checkpoint police stopped a number of teenagers and conducted urine tests on them to check for traces of drug abuse, five of them tested positive one man 27 year old Vichian Humkong was found to be carrying a quantity of the drug known as ‘Ice’

All of them were transferred to police station to face law enforcement.

Checkpoints will surely continue until the drug problem has been thoroughly dealt with.
