At half past midnight on the 24th of November officers from Banglamung police station armed with an warrant arrested a 45 year old British national named James Kelly a bar behind Mit yon head office in South Pattaya.

Pol. Col. Somnuk disclosed that previously another British man and his Thai wife filed a complaint against Mr. James for trespassing and assault in their home at St. James Park Village.

After gathering statements from witnesses and collating evidence an arrest warrant was requested from Pattaya Courthouse and Mr. James was duly arrested.

The reason for the assault was apparently due to a debt of 3 million baht debt that the victims owe to Mr. James and had not repaid it, which had led to an argument.

However the officers will launch a full investigation to see who the real victim is in this case.
