BANGKOK, Thailand – The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has announced temporary entrance closures and traffic adjustments at Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal ahead of an official opening ceremony on October 29. The ceremony will cover the terminal and the SRT Light Red Line (Nakhon Withi) and the Dark Red Line (Thani Ratthaya). Entrance 1 will be closed through October 29, while Entrance 2 will close only on October 29. All other entrances will remain open, allowing passengers to access long-distance trains and electric railway services as usual.

On October 29, motorists using the underground parking facilities must enter through the tunnel near Entrance 5. Parking will be available in Zones J through T, including all designated pillar areas. Public transportation drop-off points at Entrances 3 and 4 will remain open. The SRT has advised passengers to plan ahead and allow extra travel time, especially on October 29, when the ceremony may affect traffic around the terminal. (NNT)
