Design leaders and award winners from around the world gather in Bangkok for the 19th Annual International Design Awards Gala, held in strategic partnership with Bangkok Design Week 2026, highlighting Thailand’s rising influence in the global creative industry.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand hosted the 19th Annual International Design Awards Gala in Bangkok.

The grand ceremony was held in strategic partnership between the International Design Awards (IDA) and Bangkok Design Week 2026, marking a defining milestone for Thailand’s creative industry on the world stage.

The collaboration underscores IDA’s long standing mission to champion creative excellence across disciplines. As a premier international platform, IDA drives innovation and elevates design standards, connecting creative communities across continents.



The gala has traveled to global cities including Los Angeles, New York, Oslo, and Shanghai. Bringing the event to Thailand highlights Bangkok’s growing role as a dynamic hub for multi dimensional design, uniting influential creative minds in the heart of the city.

More than 300 distinguished guests, including award winners and leading figures from the global design industry, will attend the event. Their presence marks an important milestone for Thailand’s creative sector, offering Thai designers an opportunity to showcase their potential, exchange forward thinking perspectives, and build meaningful international networks.


Beyond celebrating achievement, the event fosters inspiration and dialogue. By amplifying Thai creative work on the international stage, the partnership further strengthens Bangkok’s position as a vibrant Creative City with expanding global influence.

Each award winning masterpiece reflects strong conceptual vision, aesthetic depth, and functional excellence, aligning with IDA’s commitment to shaping the future of the global creative industry.


Among this year’s top honors, Architectural Design of the Year was awarded to Yohoo Museum by Aedas, Ken Wai. Interior Design of the Year went to NTT DATA Milan Headquarters by De Amicis Architetti, Giacomo De Amicis. Fashion Design of the Year was presented to The Error of Perfection by Fashion House Lekeckas, Kestutis Lekeckas. Graphic Design of the Year was awarded to ADHDesigner by Zipei Zhang, Calorine Ren, and Yuling Zhou. Product Design of the Year was awarded to the King Long MH hydrogen electric truck tractor.

To further connect global creative communities, over 70 award winning masterpieces from IDA and the European Product Design Award 2025 will be showcased during Bangkok Design Week 2026. (NNT)
