The Sheikhul Islam Office has released an announcement regarding the passing of H.E. Mr. Aziz Phitakkumpon, the 18th Sheikhul Islam of the Kingdom of Thailand. He was undergoing medical treatment under Royal Patronage at Chulalongkorn Hospital and peacefully returned to the mercy of Allah on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 10:32 a.m.
