The 15 suspects are facing charges of defying an NCPO announcement regarding illegal assembly in public of more than five people and being members of an illegal organization in accordance with Section 209 of the Criminal Code.

Their lawyer, Thanadet Puangpoon, put up the surety, 100,000 baht each, to obtain their bailout.

On August 19, the Bangkok Military Court ordered the 15 suspects detained for 12 days.
