International Women’s Day at GIS stresses gender equality

All the female members of staff at Garden International School (GIS) helped celebrate International Women’s Day in style.

Led by Head Girl Berenice, there was a whole school assembly that reminded everyone how there was still a need for gender equality.

After some speeches, every female member of staff at GIS – including the teachers, maids and admin staff – performed their own dance, to feminist tracks such as Beyoncé’s Survivor and Chaka Khan’s ‘I’m Every Woman’.

GIS is based in Ban Chang, near Pattaya.

The event was organised by Head Girl Berenice.

Teacher’s and admin staff danced to Chaka Khan’s ‘I’m Every Woman’.

GIS Secondary students gave a moving dance routine based on Colbie Caillat’s ‘Try’.

All GIS’s female staff took part in International Women’s Day.
