PATTAYA, Thailand – The upcoming staging of Tomorrowland in Thailand is already generating strong momentum in the hospitality sector across the eastern region, with hotel bookings rising sharply in Pattaya and nearby Bang Saen ahead of the world-famous music festival.
The event is scheduled to take place from December 11–13 at Wisdom Valley, Pattaya, Chonburi, marking its first-ever edition in Southeast Asia.
Dr. Watcharapong Khunpluem, President of the Thailand Hotel Association Eastern Chapter, said preparations are underway as hotels begin signing agreements with organizers to accommodate international visitors. He noted that hotel partnerships linked to Tomorrowland are not limited to Pattaya, but also extend to nearby destinations such as Bang Saen, where several hotels have already secured contracts due to strong transport connectivity. Even hotels not officially part of the event agreements are reporting increased bookings, reflecting rising demand from international tourists expected to travel from across Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, and China.
Dr. Watcharapong described Tomorrowland as more than a typical EDM concert, highlighting its global fan base and immersive experience that attracts dedicated festival-goers. He added that the 2026 edition will significantly boost tourism and economic activity in Pattaya and Chonburi, with many visitors expected to extend their stay beyond the event dates. With December 2026 expected to be a peak tourism period for the eastern region, officials believe the festival will further strengthen visitor arrivals and spending across hotels, restaurants, and local businesses.
The association president said Tomorrowland will help elevate Pattaya’s international profile, positioning it as a global destination for large-scale entertainment events.
