A thief thirsty for baht, not mineral water, broke into a Pattaya vending machine.
Police were called to the Tiew Apartments on Soi Khao Talo Aug. 9.
Owner Ratchanee Nuchcharoen, 63, pointed out the Jai Dee mineral water vending machine had a fist-sized hole where the coin box once was.
Ratchanee said she was notified last night that someone had drilled a hole in the machine, which normally is opened by keys in her office.
Police are investigating.
