BANGKOK, Thailand – The government is inviting Thais and tourists to attend the Silpa Cheep Prateep Thai OTOP: Uniting Hearts with Royal Grace fair at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani from August 8 to 16, featuring community products, Thai textiles, handicrafts, and regional food from across the country. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Challenger Halls 1-3.
Deputy Government Spokesperson Lalida Perwiwatana said the fair will offer OTOP entrepreneurs additional sales and marketing opportunities while supporting local economies. Featured areas include textiles from the SUPPORT Foundation, premium handicrafts in the OTOP Luxury zone, and products associated with beliefs and auspicious traditions in the OTOP Sai Mu zone.
The fair will also feature regional dishes, daily concerts, and limited-time discounts, along with activities offering gift vouchers worth a combined 400,000 baht. Eligible visitors can use Thai Chuay Thai Plus 60/40 benefits at participating vendors, helping reduce shopping costs while supporting community businesses. The government expects the event to increase domestic spending and provide wider market access for OTOP producers. (NNT)
