SYDNEY, Australia – The Thailand Grand Festival 2026 is set to celebrate Thai culture and creativity in central Sydney on September 19–20 at Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour. Under the theme “Creative Life, Creative Heartbeat,” the two-day event will showcase Thailand’s cultural heritage alongside contemporary art, entertainment, and lifestyle experiences.
Visitors can explore Thai cuisine, cultural performances, live music, Muay Thai, arts and crafts, fashion, wellness, and tourism. Workshops and interactive activities will offer families and other festivalgoers additional ways to experience Thai culture throughout the weekend.
The Thai Grand Parade will be a centerpiece of the festival, filling Darling Harbour with a colorful presentation of Thai culture and creative expression. Stage performances and other activities will showcase both traditional elements and modern interpretations of Thailand’s identity.
Organized by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Sydney in cooperation with Team Thailand agencies and local partners, the festival will also celebrate the longstanding friendship between Thailand and Australia. The event seeks to deepen cultural exchange and expand connections between the people and communities of both countries. (NNT)
