Thailand and Singapore reinforce long-standing air force partnership

Air Chief Marshal Seksan Kantha, commander-in-chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, met senior Singapore defense leaders in Singapore to discuss strengthening bilateral defense cooperation and regional security collaboration.

SINGAPORE – Air Chief Marshal Seksan Kantha, commander-in-chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, has paid an official visit to Singapore, where he met with Defense Minister Chan Chun Sing, Chief of Defense Force Vice Admiral Aaron Beng, and Chief of the Republic of Singapore Air Force Major General Kelvin Khong. The discussions centered on the long-standing defense relationship between the two countries and opportunities for closer military cooperation.



The two sides also exchanged views on the regional security environment and evolving geopolitical developments, while discussing cooperation in areas of shared interest. During the visit, ACM Seksan toured Sembawang Air Base and the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Command. He also exchanged operational knowledge and experience in modern air operations to support future defense cooperation and regional peace, stability, and long-term security. (NNT)
