A college student died after his big motorcycle clipped a moving truck.
Petcharat Sakcharoenchaikul, 19, died at a hospital following the Aug 16 wreck at the 150-kilometer mark in Baan Amphur on Sukhumvit Road.

A witness driving behind the Thai-Austrian Technical College student said Petcharat was speeding on his 300cc Kawasaki Z and suddenly lost control, skid and hit the kilometer marker.

The reason he lost control was that the speeding bike clipped the tail of a Toyota Vigo driven by Sinchai Tewasakruksa, 71. The truck suffered only a broken taillight.
