PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya continues to welcome both domestic and international visitors despite entering the tropical rainy season, with warm temperatures, occasional showers and plenty of sunshine still on offer. Visitors can expect daytime temperatures to hover around 32-33°C throughout the coming week, while overnight temperatures remain a warm 27-28°C. Humidity levels are high, creating a tropical atmosphere that is typical for Thailand’s eastern seaboard during June.

While rain is possible on most days, it is important for travelers to understand that Pattaya’s rainy season does not usually mean all-day rainfall. Instead, showers often arrive in short bursts, particularly during the afternoon or evening, before giving way to clearer skies. Many long-term visitors note that rain events frequently last less than an hour, allowing tourism activities to continue with minimal disruption. Beach lovers will find sea temperatures close to 30°C, making conditions ideal for swimming, island-hopping and water sports. Popular attractions such as Pattaya Beach, Jomtien Beach and nearby islands remain busy with visitors seeking a tropical getaway.

Tourism operators advise visitors to carry a light umbrella or rain jacket, stay hydrated and use sunscreen, as UV levels remain very high even on cloudy days. June temperatures can feel significantly hotter due to humidity, particularly during the midday hours. For travelers looking to avoid peak-season crowds, June offers a different side of Pattaya. Hotel rates are often more competitive, beaches are less crowded and major attractions remain open, making it an attractive period for both Thai holidaymakers and overseas tourists.
