PATTAYA, Thailand – A missing Russian siblings case took a disturbing turn after their motorcycle was found dismantled and buried in an old forest cemetery area in Huai Yai, Banglamung, with four suspected men fleeing when approached by local officials, July 29. The black-and-grey Honda ADV 150 belonging to 22-year-old Diana Nazimova and 17-year-old Roman Nazimova was discovered buried under freshly covered soil in Moo 9, Huai Yai Subdistrict, after the siblings disappeared with the motorcycle in the early hours of July 26. Local officials, including the village headman, assistant village leaders and community representatives, had been searching for clues when they spotted four men carrying digging equipment in the forest area. When officials identified themselves and approached, the men immediately ran away.
Police were called to inspect the scene and found a recently filled hole. After digging, officers discovered the motorcycle had been stripped into pieces and buried underground. Authorities confirmed it was the same Honda ADV 150 registered to the missing Russian siblings. Following the discovery, police launched a wider search of the surrounding area for the missing pair and additional evidence. The location is near the home of “Pong,” a suspect seen in previously circulated footage, though investigators have not yet confirmed his involvement. Assistant village headman Jakrit Boonmak, 56, said local leaders analyzed CCTV footage and travel routes before identifying the area as suspicious.
He said they received information that a group of men had brought digging equipment to the area around 10 p.m. the previous night, leading officials to inspect the location. Jakrit said they initially feared a body may have been buried and withdrew from the area before contacting police, as they were concerned the group could be armed. When authorities returned, the four men had already disappeared. The search for the two missing Russian siblings continues, with officers examining the area and collecting further evidence.
Latest police update: Authorities have issued a warning regarding “Pong,” a suspect being sought in connection with the investigation. Police said he may have links to the case and are working to locate him for questioning.
