
PATTAYA, Thailand – A driver allegedly running a red light caused a crash at a busy Pattaya intersection on Second Road on July 13, damaging two vehicles and a roadside power pole. The accident occurred at the Central Pattaya junction, where Pattaya municipal officers helped manage traffic and assisted with the initial response while relevant agencies inspected the scene. According to reports, a Thai woman driving a white sedan allegedly failed to stop at the traffic signal and collided with the side of another white car travelling through the intersection.
The impact sent the vehicle into a nearby power pole, causing damage to public infrastructure. The driver sustained minor injuries following the collision. Officials coordinated with relevant departments to assess the damage and arrange necessary repairs, as the incident affected government property. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including the reported traffic violation.
