The Banglamung Red Cross donated 4,000 baht to a Nongprue fire victim to help forward her career training.
Red Cross President Supinya Niramaiwong and sub-district officials presented the cash and additional relief supplies, including rice and dried foods, to Panada Kritanan at her Fah Mi Ard Kan village home Jan. 24.
She thanked them for their donation and said she will use the money to further her career as a general contractor.
Fire struck Panada’s home New Year’s Day. The blaze, suspected to have started due to an electrical short, caused about 300,000 baht damage.
Those interested in helping Panada get back on her feet can do so at the Nongprue Social Welfare Division.
