Prachin Buri narcotics officers visited Pattaya’s Chumsai Community to study their grassroots approach to drug prevention.
Neighborhood President Jirawat Plukjai welcomed the delegation from the Central province’s Narcotics Prevention and Suppression Center Nov. 21.
They heard how the neighborhood encourages residents to help police by observing and notifying officers about any suspicious activity.
The group also learned how to fire guns from the Pattaya Police Volunteers Club and Rachasripitak Pattaya Club and watched a demonstration by police on how officers make drug arrests and restrain suspects.
