Poramet was re-elected Pattaya mayor after winning 20,184 votes, while the We Love Pattaya team secured 24 seats across all four Pattaya City Council electoral districts.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Poramet Ngampichet of the We Love Pattaya team has been re-elected Mayor of Pattaya, receiving the highest number of votes in the Pattaya mayoral election on June 28. The ballot count from all 113 polling stations showed that Poramet received 20,184 votes, while Itthiwat Wattanasaathorn secured 11,566. All 24 We Love Pattaya candidates were also elected to the Pattaya City Council across the city’s four electoral districts, giving the administration a strong mandate to continue its policies.

The result marks a significant increase in public support for Poramet, who won his first mayoral election in 2022 with 14,349 votes. His improved tally of 20,184 votes suggests growing voter confidence in his leadership and the work of the We Love Pattaya team during the past four years. According to official figures, Pattaya had 80,196 eligible voters, with 34,677 casting ballots, representing a 43.24% voter turnout. Of these, 33,283 ballots were valid (95.98%), 805 were blank (2.32%), and 589 were invalid (1.70%). Poramet secured a second term after earning strong public support, reflecting growing voter confidence in his leadership and the We Love Pattaya team’s performance over the past four years.

Poramet increased his vote total from 14,349 in the previous Pattaya mayoral election to 20,184 this year, strengthening his mandate for a second term.
