Police probe Sriracha woman’s death after workplace note found

Police investigate after a woman was found dead inside a Honda HR-V on the Khao Bang Phra–Khao Chalak route in Sriracha on August 8, with a note reportedly mentioning workplace problems.

SRIRACHA, Thailand – A woman was found dead inside a Honda HR-V parked along the Khao Bang Phra–Khao Chalak route in Sriracha, Chonburi, on August 8, after local residents became suspicious of the vehicle. The incident was reported at approximately 10:38 a.m. Residents alerted police and rescue workers after noticing the vehicle parked in an unusual location along the roadside.



Responding officers found a woman, reportedly from Village 5 in Surasak subdistrict, inside the vehicle. She was reportedly an employee of an automotive company. Police found a traditional charcoal brazier inside the vehicle that appeared to have been used. Medication and a written note were also found among the woman’s belongings. The note reportedly referred to problems connected with her workplace.

Investigators are examining the vehicle, personal belongings and other evidence while forensic procedures are carried out to establish the circumstances and cause of death. Police are also verifying information reportedly contained in the note and speaking with people connected to the deceased before drawing conclusions.
