PHUKET, Thailand – A video circulating on social media appears to show a Thai male vendor confronting a group of Israeli tourists after they allegedly stood watching him while he was selling Palestinian-themed merchandise in Phuket.
According to a post shared by the Facebook page “Jae Moi V+,” the incident involved around 12 Israeli tourists. The post claims the tourists shouted “Free Israel” at the vendor, who responded by waving a Palestinian flag and shouting “Free Palestine” while telling them to leave. The video has sparked widespread discussion online, with some commenters praising the vendor and saying Thailand should welcome tourists who behave respectfully but reject confrontational behavior.
However, the circumstances surrounding the confrontation have not been independently verified. Authorities or relevant agencies are reportedly checking whether the incident actually took place in Phuket.
