PATTAYA, Thailand – Mayor Poramet Ngampichet met with the IO Digital Technology-Boramee Mit 5 team to discuss the details of the LED screen upgrade project for Walking Street.

The project aims to improve and modernize the aging LED displays on Walking Street, enhancing the area’s appearance in line with its status as a world-class tourist destination. Two locations will be upgraded.

The first will involve replacing the old static sign at the entrance to Walking Street with a modern, curved LED screen measuring 9 meters wide by 12 meters tall, featuring a high-resolution P4.81 display. The second upgrade will be to the entrance gate on the Bali Hai Cape side, transforming it into a sleek, 9×3-meter P4.81 resolution LED screen.

The project is set to take 120 days, from April 24 to August 21. The meeting also discussed content ideas for the LED screens, focusing on eye-catching visuals that align with Pattaya’s tourism identity. Mayor Poramet emphasized the goal of creating a modern, vibrant atmosphere to attract visitors and make their experiences unforgettable.

A follow-up meeting will take place on May 5, to finalize the details and ensure minimal disruption to the public during the construction period.

The iconic Walking Street entrance will soon showcase a stunning 9×12 meter LED screen, offering high-resolution visuals day and night.

Mayor discusses plans for dynamic, eye-catching content on upgraded LED displays to highlight Pattaya’s unique attractions and events.

The LED screen upgrade project at Walking Street is expected to finish by August 21.
