PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya City’s Sanitation Engineering Office is continuing field operations to remove accumulated rubbish and other obstructions from drainage pipes, helping water flow more freely and improving the city’s drainage efficiency. The cleanup work is being carried out continuously, with the city focusing particular attention on key areas including Sukhumvit Road to keep drainage routes clear and reduce the impact of heavy rain and flooding.
Pattaya City is also urging residents to keep rubbish in designated collection areas and avoid leaving waste where it can enter drains and cause blockages. Residents can contact the Pattaya City hotline at 1337 to report drainage, sanitation or other city-related problems.
